As we all know I`ve been plagues with these for the last 18 months.

Some interesting reading in regards to fixing an injury & prevention of further ones.

After reading some of this information what becomes evidently clear is that a calf injury could quite possible be just the symptom of a weakness elsewhere with in the lower limb muscles.

I believe it. After tearing 3 ligaments in my ankle a few weeks past my calf, achillies and arch are acting sketchy.

Do you wear orthodics?

I used to because of a twisted hip. With all the training I have done to improve a few areas since April I have gone from overpronation to a neutral gait according to a recent gain analysis I had done a few weeks ago.

that may be whats triggered the new run of injuries that change and additional workload

A good extra 2-3 miles per day at work minimum, was up to nearly double what I was running/jogging around 4-6 weeks ago plus the sprint work.

Something has taken its toll.

We`ll fix it though ;-)

Do you really need the extra running/jogging if you are doing sprint work in combination with your daily work mileage?

Not allowed to run at work so I have a lot of nervous energy to sprint off :lol:

The jogging is part of my active recovery/overall health aspect to my basic training template.
