What if you dont have a tyre

I was wondering if anyone else had any ideas what could be used instead of a tyre during sledgehammer workouts as im finding it hard to find a tyre. I messaged cookie would said make a sand pit which is a good idea. But if anyone else has any thoughts about what to use or even where to get a tyre that would be alot of help. Thanks

i was thinking of useing one of my sandbags. But have to be very well wrapped up to stand the impact. But be cheap.
not sure how good it wud work. Shall have to find out.

i am surprised you are having trouble getting a tyre....most tyre companies have to pay for them to be taken away...........and the larger the more they pay...........

we have 2 in the gym, in nice is condition and 1 tatty one out side


i also have a 350kg one waiting to be delivered............its harder getting the truck to deliver it than it was to find the tyre



just get a normal car tyre, strap to a board and use that


use a rolled up mattress or a piece of carpet rolled and folded

use the sldege hammer for levers and lifts

look for somewhere that services wagons and buses etc, ask the bin man or something if they can tell you where they get their wagons serviced, or go to a haulage company and ask them. a haulage company might even drop it off for you to get it out of their way, who knows

For sledge hammer work it doesn't even need to be that big.

I got both mine from Kwik fir, just walked in and asked if they had an old tyrre i could have.

Apparently the get asked a lot for them especially from play groups etc.
