Ring Pullum Sports. I have heard people say they are overpriced but I have never purchased anything from them that I have had issue with which is more than can be said for many of the other companies I've acquired kit from. I have a pair of Polish lifting boots that were originally from there, there about ten years old now and still going (albeit they're looking a bit tatty).

Anyway I found from previous experience that they were happy to talk and advise over the phone, the website is also very comprehensive.

I'd probably opt for there own brand (the Ironlifter) or the Do Win if I were you, I think the Adidas shoe - you're paying for the name rather than any great advance in performance.

Essentially though what you want is a flat sole with a wooden heel for stability, tarsal straps are always a bonus, velcro ones are less fiddly and less likely to break than buckles.

Ah yes, i have seen these, look good especially for the price. Cheers Sam

one thing that may sound daft, how wide fitting are lifting shoes generally?
i tend to prefer a tighter shoe, so for lifting especially i will want a nice tight fit for better stability
