Hi Joe, great to have you at
http://www.rawperformance.co.uk! Tell our readers a bit about yourself…
Hi Dan, thanks for having me!
I’m 22 years old and currently I’m a
fourth year medical student at Manchester University. I also took
a year out from med school to do a degree in Anatomy last year. Outside of academic stuff, I
’m a strength and conditioning coach and run my own consultancy business at
http://www.antiethos.com.
AntiEthos is run with my friend and business partner Eddie. The website is about maximising life, from improving your health and athletic performance to optimising your lifestyle. Our aim is exceptional performance, both in the gym and out of it. We both write regular blogs and host articles and interviews from a variety of sources.
I’m also President of The Sports and Exercise Medicine Society, which is currently being updated to become national resource for professionals involved in sports and exercise. You can check it out at
http://www.sportsmedicinesociety.org.uk.
You keep yourself busy then! I saw you recently looked after Strength & Performance, Manchester, how was that?
It was awesome! It was a really good experience and one that taught me a lot. It’s an amazing facility and they have some very hard working clients. I’m lucky enough to train there a few times a week. I wrote an article about what I learnt there here.
