Any chance of a few pointers with this heart rate training stuff?

The goal would be to increase and measure (somehow) general 'army dude' type fitness via running. I can get my Max HR, working HR, resting HR worked out no probs, I know how to get those.

If I went for 3 sessions per week what length of sessions would be best and what zones should I run in and what do I record HR wise to measure progress? :???:

also I was gonna buy this model, what d'ya think

I train in zone 1 on my watch for basic cardio runs from 30-60 minutes which is about 60% of max heart rate.

The fitter you are the lower your resting heart rate will become over time. Mine`s dropped about 10bpm this year alone.

This book seems to have some good reviews.

two traveling yokels probably left a stone or two in the road and the postman tripped on it, or maybe they put it back in the right spot and postman did not see it since it wasn't painted red anymore???

Spoke with someone the other day & they had been using DHL who normally have their drivers do 100-150 drops per day. They were down to 30 per day because of the snow

Sprints, yeah. Ankle seems to be holding up....for now

Really just want to start taking a more precise and technical approach so I can better diagnose my weaknesses. Just need to get a consistent journal going
