Watched a few races today & have been amazed at the number of people with Kineso taping all over their legs, glutes & lower backs
Sam69 used a very similar technique last year to hold me together for a race.

It is actually pretty tricky getting it right for athletic purposes. Though I really do not like taping I do tape my ankles and wrists when wrestling and often have to do them several times to get it right.
Athletic tape is my preference, but electrical tape is my 2nd over duct tape. But duct tape does work in a pinch so to speak

Don't know if I can agree with you on that. I would use duct tape to fully immobilize a joint, yeah but not to aid in just supporting a sketchy joint if given a choice.
I have used both and they do work, I just found electrical tape better for stabilizing the wrists/ankles/knees over duct tape where movement is needed. Now if something goes "snap" then I would go for the duct tape....and the whiskey
samurai69 wrote:what i ment was that electrical tape, unless its used over bandages can be quite firm and unforgiving, we used to use it to over tape support bandages and maybe to tape fingers together etc where a little give is necessary

How awesome would it have been if it was Duct Tape instead....Imagine the coverage on Sports Center if that happened....should have been an agent
