been lent a copy of "Essentials of strength & conditioning" deffinately one worth getting, covers a lot of the basics and looks into drugs and supps, as well as the main lifts etc and periodisation etc etc.....not cheap but well worth the price IMO ...... just ordered a copy off amazon

Not cheap.

You ordered the 3rd edition or the 2000 edition?

Quite a difference in prices between the two.

Dare not get any more books at present have a number to read already.

the older one, as i have seen the new version and can take what i need from that if its different, ordered with 2 other books so got the 3 on amazon at good price
