at the moment machines are what i need cos im just coming off a broken and dislocate shoulder so dont wanna be using free weights and hurt myself if you get me .. but in all fairness i get what you mean about waiting for things but i do alot of cardio so rowing machines, treadmills, bikes etc are what i use also

misguided i think, here the person would be much better off using dumbells and maybe even k bells to strengthen the shoulder....good technique , sensible weight and he would be far better off than over doing it on a machine

yeah surly using a dumbell would help with balance and work the weaker areas at the end of the day getting back using sensible weight and using good form will be better than machines.

Agree. And even some light therabands for rehabilitation type movements.
