what are your thoughts on training heavy, say a 8x3 routine, lifting same muscle group multiple times a week.
recent reading ive been doing, oly lifters lifting frequently and this article by chad

i for instance atm am training 2 big compound moves, then oly technique with bar and streching, with bit of other stuff thrown in.
but i am liking doing very basic training, but lifting often.
an example would be
front squat 8x3
deads 8x3
with couple of assistance work slightly higher reps inbetween
oly work
twice a week
and similar with bench and voerhead press.
thoughts?
