Yeah it did. And sounds good logic.

I have always split workouts and they havnt really worked.

Since starting again and following more of starting strength I have made good progress and won't be long till at my previous strongest. I thinbk I shall be staying at full body like ytou wrote there or starting strength advanced novice for a while. Just seems to work better.

Thing I struggle with is I want to lift erach day, but I know I need a rest in between. Need to start doing cardio or conditioning in those times.

I agree with S69. Stick with full body workout. Less stress on your CNS over the course of a week/month.

one of the biggest problems with people that enjoy training

light complexes on the non training days act like "active recovery" and boost cardio

That's a good idea. Did some sprint work today. 10sec on 20sec off as an intro to short burst work. Thinking if I don't start by time start to do farmers etc not only is strength going to be an issue, actually not dyeing from being out of breath be a huge issue!
