Negatives on chin ups

? I seem to be getting stuck on like 4-5 reps for chins, but I can do them any time throughout the day without my muscles aching the next day, i just cant seem to get past 5 though at the moment.

I have started doing them as Gironda said to do them but negative versions, sternum to bar and then lower myself from there but will it help?

Give it a go, thats the only way you`ll ever know for sure ;-)

couldnt you do your normal 4 or 5 reps then add in the negtives after.
