Luke Cummo - Milk Recipe

Postby Scott » Fri Apr 13, 2007 1:46 pm

if you dont know Luke Cummo he's a UFC fighter who came through one of the ultimate fighter series. Very much into the healthy diet even though we all saw him tearing into crazy amounts of junk food after his fights!!

anyways on his website he has a video where he prepares this 'Milk' which he reckons is way better post workout than a simple sugar type carby sports drink. reckons its full of electrolytes and stuff.... dunno.

the vid is a tad long but here is the basics of the recipe.....

stage 1

macadamia nuts
brazil nuts
almonds
*not sure of the amounts used, looked like at least 50g each, maybe 100g

1. cover nuts mix with water and blend.
2. add more water to the mix.
3. add mixture to a cotton bag to drain

stage 2
raw honey
tbl spoon raw coconut butter/fat or oil
irish sea moss
little hot water
1 or 2 teaspoons sundried sea salt
dash of vanilla

4. blend coconut butter with a little hot water
5. add irish sea moss, seat salt, vanilla
6. blend both mixture (stage 1 & 2) together

weird looking....... thoughts anyone?

and tasted good too
