I tried that for a bit, but am not so sure it is well suited for me. I am pretty thin (6'1.5" and 167 lbs?) and have a super high metabolism so I become hungry every 3-4 hours even if I've just had a "Thanksgiving size" meal. Eating fruits and maybe a slice of bread during the day just doesn't cut it. Although this diet is designed to help you loose weight as well, right? For me I don't need to loose weight...I need to gain it (in muscle of course)!

If that is the case, I would eat a little more (i'm with you on the need to gain some, I am 5 foot 7 and weight 140 lbs.)
