anyone heard of or tried this?
I read a couple of natty BBers were on it. its a new one to me, its only about 10 years old! :roll:

the website has a big picture of a man in a white coat which is all the credentials I need :grin:
your basically eating foods which are 'good' for your blood type.

Not had time to read it yet, managed about 10 pages and got side tracked.

I`ll post it up to you to read next week...

I bought that book about 10 years ago. Some of the science behind it might be suspect (or so I have heard) but I will have to say that everyone I know who has followed the diet for thier bloodtype religiously has had success with it, so there is definetly something to it. I know I feel much better when I follow the diet for my own blood type (type O) which also happens to be almost completlely identical to the "Paleo Diet" that is beginning to get popular nowadays.
Spartan is the attitude, not your birthplace.

if possible ,in laymans terms, why would your blood type effect the food you eat? how does that make an impact of being a fat lad?

does your blood type determine how your body will process certain foods or something?

I heard about this from the guy at work who practices Chinese Medicine. He seems to have a great deal of confidence in the practice.

personally ....... as with all diets you cut down on the food you eat, there fore you will lose weight............that is really the base for it all
the theories on different foods being metabolised differently depending on your blood type has vague groundings in oriental medecine methods, as does the mood your in etc

why not have a mood diet, it would do the same thing :roll:

that would be my take on diets as well but it hasnt always worked out like that so Im not so sure now. Im wondering if that approach will only take you so far. unless of course you dont care about keeping muscle etc Im sure 'starvation' would do the trick! but Ive gradually lowered the amount of food Ive eaten from week to week and not dropped weight.
Im the same weight after 2 weeks at 1700 cals as I was after 2 weeks at 1400 cals. unless there is some sort of variable in there that is effecting it, I dunno.

Forget the diet, why not wank-yourself thin?

Lovely calorie counter attached below simply select Wanking (vigorous) from the drop down, type in your weight and away you go!!! And don't forget to tuck your t-shirt under your chin of course.
