Health Benefits of Black Cherries

Postby firebear369 » Sat Sep 29, 2007 1:03 pm

At work yesterday, several of us were discussing different methods of detoxification and the like. One of the guys mentioned that he drinks Black Cherry juice, which he said cleans him out. He initially started taking it because his doctor recommended it for his knees.

I did a little research on it and found some interesting information. In addition to reducing inflamation from gout and arthritis, it also improves heart health and is currently being tested for benefits against cancer.

Here is a link to a website that I found and I'm going to try and attach an article as well. The article is accessable through the link below if the attachment doesn't work. I'm going to try the juice out and see what happens.

Did not know so many people were allergic to cherries.

I found it in my local store and it was expensive!! The taste wasn't bad at all though, I rather liked it.
