the canadian food guide says 8-10 servings for males over the age of 18, i have been trying to consume this much since i was 16, i think fruits are included in this aswell but i am not sure and will double check, however i get my sugar fix from fruits since it is natural sugar, its like candy to me, back to the topic at hand though i try also to consume 8 servings (1-2pieces of fruit) a day aside from my vegetable servings seeing as how they are different

In denmark the adviced amount is 6 pcs of fruit or at least 600 g of fruit and veg. a day.
It can be difficult to reach but to try an make it I have come up with this powershake I take post workouts.
3-4 dl lowfat organic yogurth
300 g frozen fruit
honey
protein powder (vanilla flavour)
I make it every morning and keep it in the fridge, it lasts me a day.
Then I try and make at least one of my meals meat/fish + veg and fruit.
