Idea's for dinner?

Postby The Raging Bull » Sun Mar 30, 2008 9:29 pm

Can anyone help me on what to have for my dinner?

I am 17 and trying to cut my fat, I'm looking for something high in protein that's fairly easy to make.

Anyone got any ideas?

Check the recipe thread in the Syssitia forum. If you want super easy....back in the day one of my best friends was trying to be a bodybuilder but we were all poor. He just ate tuna straight out of the can, morning noon and night. Cheap and easy but it drove him more than a little mad.

The you are looking at a low carb meal for later in the day then...

Meat with high fibrous veggies and either a small amount of butter or a cream sauce will suffice and fill you up nicely..

true, you cant go wrong with a tuna steak, with baked potato and a salad, good protein with low fat, and complex carbohydrates. i enjoy it, but try a little variety too.

I go low on any type of carbs for dinner, if having any...get a mackeral steak, chillis, garlic, onions, spinach, mushrooms, and brocol....whack it all in a frying pan with some good old virgin olive oil, and drool over the results....and great sources of all the bits and pieces you need to help your body recover during sleep....if hungry later grab a simple protein shake before sleep!
