i think hydration is seriously overlooked by pretty much everyone. I'm sure tak will agree that the amount of bodily processes requiring H20 is astounding.
When it has no harmful effects and is so cheap, why risk not having enough.

WATER!!

Please drink more.

Its easy to check on too.

If you are thirsty its too late you are already dehydrated.
(Thirst mechanism is one of the most poor that we have in our bodies but may indicate that as we evolved that drinking water has lawys been close by?)

If you piss is yellow-ish your not hydrated properly.

Thirst more often than not thought of as hunger

Defo fatties saying they are hungry all the time when its just there body telling them to get watewr on board as there poor bodies have had to resort to becoming dependent on only getting liquid from food.

Fat fuckers

I always try to drink at least 1.5 - 2 gals of water a day especially if I am taking in alot of protein to bulk up. If you are doing any sort of supplementation you need to hydrate more just to flush your body out or you could get really sick. I have seen one of my friends get protein poisoning from not drinking enough water thank god he was ok once he realized what was happening and went to the hospital. For the most part though there is no need to supplement you can get all you need from food and WATER!

there is actually a harm in over hydrating, long distance runners have died in the past by consuming to much water after a race mind you we are talking massive amounts of h2o none the less they diluted there electrolytes to such a degree that their bodies shut down, however this is of no concern to us as most of us probably are under-hydrated...remember water = life!
