Knee rehab supplements

Postby Cookie » Sun Sep 21, 2008 2:52 pm

As you`ll all should be well aware, I am currently treating a bad knee.

Doctor says it is osteoarthritis & has prescribe execises to help strengthen the whole quad area so to keep he knee in its correct alignment.

Well before all that I decided to take some action of my own and came up with the following supplement regime to help with knee recovery.

GH3

Osteobolin-C

BCAA`s

ALCAR

Fish oils

Add in ice & heat treatments multiple times per day & I am seeing results in reduction of pain, swelling & inflammation. Strength in the knee is still a big issue but that will come back as the exercise regime kicks in to full swing.

I will also be adding in some exercise from the knee rehab video in the theatron section..

Is osteobolin the active ingredient or a brand name?

Cissus, eh? Haven't heard of that one but glad it seems to be working. I've had some knee problems, nothing major. Mostly wear and tear but one injury when I was still a pup. I regularly take fish oil, glucosamine, and chondroitin. I hope some of the young bucks will read your posts here and realize some of this can act as preventive medicine as well. Cheers.

Your welcome..

My doc was against the use of glucosamine due to it having a possible dehydrating effect on the knees..

TH&S............

Did you find anything more out about that supplement you posted about above?
