I used to eat that stuff years ago then switched to butter, now whenever I have some (usually someone else made me a sandwich etc) I nearly gag at the taste of margarine...horrible horrible stuff..

As far as I am aware they are the same as margarine in their construction so only 1-2 molicules away from being plastic :shock:

I`m looking into just basically using butter on my bread or dribbling some good quality olive oil over as a spread

Olive Oil Spreads are just marg with some olive oil added. Ditch IMHO.
