what are b complex tabs cookie?

liver tabs too are good

a good whey is only necessary if your protein uptake isnt that good................also as there are different protein sources you are better without the whey (if your getting enough).........and go with the additional benefit of creatine

or go for a good base protein (cheap) as a supplement and then add in the creatine as an item of use (as opposed to a supplement i.e. supplementing your diet - unless you are eating copius quantities of beef to gain the creatine needed)

could the same not be said for creatine though. If your basic nutrition isnt good (ie enough protein, fats, carbs) then additional supps such as creatine will be less useful?

I think you shoot yourself in the foot if you are looking to gain size and strength iand you dont have enough protein.

Trying to get creatine through food:

Postby Al » Sat Jan 24, 2009 5:52 pm

"Dietary creatine – key sources

The best sources of dietary creatine are meat and fish. However, a quick glance at the creatine content of some of the better sources shows that, while dietary creatine can make a significant contribution to a 2-3g per day maintenance phase, it would be virtually impossible to achieve the multi- gram daily intake required in the loading phase from dietary creatine alone without a huge extra calorie intake, making supplementation unavoidable."

Food Approx creatine content (grams per lb) Amount required in lbs (for 5 grams/day intake) Calories contained
Herring (raw) 3-4 1.4 1500
Beef (lean) 2 2.5 1400
Cod (raw) 1.4 3.6 1250
Tuna (raw) 1.8 2.8 1700
Pork (lean) 2 2.5 1700
Salmon (raw) 2 2.5 2100
Milk (semi-skimmed) 0.05 160 33600
Prawns Trace Huge amounts! Huge amounts!

Above table f**ked up when I posted it, but you'd have to eat a lot of food (expensive, lots of calories) to maintain what you could get with a teaspoon of creatine supplement.

that can be said for everything.........even AAS,

I think you shoot yourself in the foot if you are looking to gain size and strength iand you dont have enough protein

Again correct amounts of protein are often way over inflated (the old BBing mentality)

.

Als post on creatine from diet

if you think of the old time strongemns diets they included much larger amounts of proteins (eg huge staek and gallon of full fat milk for breakfast and then another few meals like this through the day................)

if i had my relativelyshitty normal diet and just added 3 pints of milk and 3 tub of cottage cheese to it i would be getting more than enough protein "MORE THAN ENOUGH" ................ not necessarily the best protein sources.........just a pointer

there were articles written in the last few years regarding the over inflated amounts of protein believed necessary

yeah but Im not talking about 400g per day or anything like that.
Alls Im saying is that if your diet is an average joe type diet, and your protein levels are poor then something like creatine isnt gonna do you much good.
