anyone know any?

Chew his food properly..

Chew your liquids, liquidise your solids.....

Then maybe use small amounts of pineapple to help with his digestion.

Pepermint tea may also help to settle his stomach but can`t be 100% sure given his medication & condition.

Have they talked about this with their doctor?

Guinness Punch recipe

Scale ingredients to servings
12 oz Guinness® stout
1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
1/16 tsp cinnamon
1/16 tsp nutmeg
Unsweetened cocoa powder

Gently pour a well-chilled Guinness into a small mixing bowl or glass that will hold all of the liquid ingredients. Add the sweetened condensed milk, spices, and cocoa (if it's wanted). Stir or whisk well, and pour the mixture into a pint-sized beer mug or pub glass.

yeah mate he has major bowl problems, like it stops working at times. it is being removed hopefully this year, then he can have some better health. so solid food he can find difficult but more liquid he can take easier.

A good reason for him to chew his food thoroughly to a liquid state before swallowing.

Speak to his doctor as he may be able to get hold of some shakes that they do for people that need building up.

I had some last year (a neighbour gave me the ones they didn`t use) and TBH they were very good.

But can`t remember the name of them

Quantities for our metric friends:

1 x can of Draught Guiness (440ml)
Roughly half a can of condensed milk(measure out 150ml)
Sprinkle of nutmeg
Sprinkle of cinnamon
Crushed ice if you want to cool it down a bit.

About 620kCal in the above serving :finga:
