Came across this.
You'll need a mirror, a small flashlight and a dimly lit room for
this simple adrenal fatigue test.
The first thing you need to do is be in your dimly lit room for at
least 10 minutes, 15 or more is better. What you want is for your the
pupils of your eyes to get big. You'll be able to see better in the
dim room when they have dilated enough to do this test.
Look in the mirror with the lights still dim but have enough light so
that you can see your large pupils. Next, you shine the flashlight
into one eye from the side in such a way that you can still see the
pupil clearly.
The pupil should immediately contract to a point, or at least much
smaller than when you started. Keep the light on the eye for three
minutes watching what happens to the pupil.
If the pupil takes any time at all getting small, then the adrenal
fatigue is most likely pretty severe. If it gets small then large
again within the three minutes, then the adrenal fatigue probably
isn't quite as bad.
One of the 50 symptoms of adrenal fatigue is sensitivity to light.
Now you know why -- the contracted pupil is to keep the level of light
in the inner eye to a tolerable level.
