What is to much

Postby lil john » Tue Dec 03, 2013 3:30 pm

While been looking round or ways of upping my protein I've been thinking. There are a lot of people who say we should have eggs or milk or things like this. But what really is the limit, is it that really it's that high we wouldn't bother to have any issues long term, I it all bollocks and eat 10 eggs a day for the hell of it or what?

Anyone know or have any links?

you can eat eggs, best not in one go though as the % protein the body can absorb is low, eggs are a great source of essential aminos, and the yolk is ok as the cholesterol is dietry so will not raise your own CHo

i drink 4 pints of milk a day at the moment to help with adding weight.....the rawer the milk the better

fats including saturated fats from full fat milk are important to metabolise fat, i would go back to full fat milk, its still clean if your diet is sound, too many myths about fats expecially saturated fats

dietry CHo is the stuff you eat, that is high in cholesterol, it wont metabolise in to CHo in your body

yeh pretty much, eggs are the perfect blend of aminos, but other sources of protein break down and are absorbod more or less the same way at roughly the same speeds.... even whey and casien are absorbed at different rates but its not as massive as its made out to be
