Tuna Shake

Postby Takmaster » Mon Oct 02, 2006 3:49 pm

:vom:

Fookin heck,

just made my first one.

200g of Tuna in spring water (drained), 2 scoops of maltodextrin, 1 zinc tab blended together

The taste isn't too bad its the fookin texture even after blended the tuna still sticks to your teeth.

I'll have to refine the recipe.

I used to add muller light yoghurt into a tuna shake, sometimes a banana as well, that helped with the texture a little.

I used to drink 3 of these a day loved them! First one made me sick, just tuna and milk blended didnt wash the tuna through. Then tried it off another board

4-5 strawberrys
1 yogurt
1 banana
half pint milk
1 tin tune drained and washed through for 5 mins
Whey if need more protien

Put in flask stays cool all day, gave some to my brother at work he liked it till i told him what was in it! I used these instead of cooking loads of food for work

i tried this and it wasnt too bad, but thought it wasnt worth the effort as tuna isnt that good a source of protein (so im told) and you can just whack some skim milk/protein powder/olive oil in the blender......faster and better taste IMO

Yeah the BV of tuna isnt great but when you combine protiens together it brings up the BV. The best is whole eggs so time to go rocky style!

Look you little girls

have the tuna with either hot tomato soup or vegetable soup...and make sure you use a good quality brand and rinse and drain your tuna...flake it up and add to the soup....Eat right away or staore in a flask for laters.....

2 tins tuna in spring water (drained)
1 or 2 scoops protein powder
fruit
fruit yoghurt
peanut butter
Gelatine
Eggs

anything really.
