This may have been covered before, but has any one used the Atkins Advantage bars?

i try not to have MRP bars too often but was shopping with deb tonight and thought id grab one. cheaper than most protien bars at one pound sixty nine pence the ratio of pro/carb/fat are good

60g Bar

Cals 236
Pro 19.4g
Carb 17.4g
Sugar 1.1g
fat 12.2g
Saturates 5.4g
fibre 5.4g
sodium 0.1g

also 42% of RDA of each of the following vits

E,C,B1,B2,B3,B6, FOLIC ACID,

50% calcium, 56% phoshorus 25% Iron 33% magnesium!!

Pretty good i'd sa. I had the Chocolate Hazelnut crunch bar and it tasted pretty much OK!!

has any one tried these? 10 views and not one comment on this post lol i take it no one has had them? try them, more protein than most protein bars, taste pretty good, good fats and alot more!!! not too expensive either!!!

I think you should concentrate on proper food not manmade rubbish :lol:

yep. in fact I would go further.... fits, you should be BANNED from such products :grin: unless you are eating them WHILE your real food is cooking.

i dont normally eat them bu ti got one for a snake earlier while out in bons st shopping, i didnt eat it until i got back and had lunch any way, so it was just after real food :-)

What did it taste like?

I plan to add 2 more meals per day to my diet next time i bulk, something liek this may do the trick.

Yes yes OSC i know real food is better :D

Then a little trick for you to use REAL food.....Have 1 egg with each meal to balance the amino acid profile of that meal.... ;-)

Have a cup of bovril or bovril type drink with each meal for a little extra protein & b vits :grin:

A small glass of milk with each meal...old time strongman trick..... :grin:

I think that`ll keep yopu going for now...... ;-)

But remember digestion is the key, doesn`t matter how much goes in its whats absorbed that counts.....
