I refuse to pay anything extra for television. Its bad enough getting the tv license every year & seeing that go up without a monthly subscription [-X

did you see the prog on bbc 2 last night? the scots guy who done around 35 miles per day for 78 days. He was supposed to go from scotland to the sahara in 85 days but managed it in 78
I actually thought this show was better than that boat race guy coz the scottish dude didnt have the experts in his support team, it was mostly either his mum, dad or girlfriend. He wasnt getting the cutting edge nutritional mixes from a top sports guy. It was obviously his own knowledge behind his food and supps and he totally blasted it.
Even starting off with an injured achillies he was able to manage it. awesome.

Listen out for a quote from his brother (also a doctor) who is talking about the research they done on ultras and Im sure he says "the textbooks state that muscles breakdown after 4 consectutive marathons"
I dont think we'll be seeing that quote printed on the front cover of 'muscle & fitness' anytime soon LOL!!
