Setting up????? Is that what they call it now, geez make sure your wipe your fingerprints and protein bar remnants off the thing when your done. I imagine with a complicated, non out of the box type of gadget such as that we are looking at all day. You are such a good father

We'll be having a less of the rolling eye smilie [-X

2 hours to download & install software update. Then some more time tweaking a few settings but could only get so far as it wanted to start registering new users & I couldn't really do that or they'd realise I'd been on the machine already

From the bits I saw screen wise the graphics are going to wipe the floor with the Wii. With it all coming through the HDMI connections the depth will be much greater on the games.

The "pad" is big, much bigger than I had expected.

At one point I had Wii, Wii U & tv all running at the same time & I was even navigating the Wii through the Wii U

Knock yourself out  http://www.atariage.com/

Wii U opinions?

Graphics are arcade like. Tekken 2 is unreal visually. As always the Mario game is bursting with colours & vibrancy. Fun to play as well when you can get 4 or more people involved.

Bit of a pain to set up at first, having to muck around registering everyone to the Nintendo network

But other than that the console has a lot of potential.

Still need to do the data transfer from the Wii to Wii U so we can play all those games on it.
