A copy of a post ins Spage's journal

viewtopic.php?f=88&t=5068&start=390

BDFPA Eastern counties Divisional powerlifting
Weighed in at 98kg
Squat 180kg 200kg miss pass when its not there I leave it
Bench 120kg miss lifted head 130kg 140kg miss
Deadlift dropped start weight 180kg 200kg 220kg
Total 530kg
Qualified for British (475kg) and won class

Losing weight sucks it was an experiment as I may need to avoid a M3 lifter who is a monster.

Big learning curve as I keep saying gym lifts are not the same as competition

Great feeling though did not go careful once the qualifying lift wqas in just whacked it on. Same as when I was young I dropped a class and strength just goes.very humbling some people are monsters big and small and female.
To be part of it is an honour

Great work mate. That's some achievement & shows how much work you've been putting in. =D> =D> =D>

should say well done to grant too, only 1 month notice of comp (first powerlifting comp too) and deadlifting like that only 5 months after a serious back operation, and at that bodyweight too

Reasonably good day, fell foul of some questionable refereeing. But did see Al for the first time in ages

Squat - 170 , 180 disallowed, 180
Bench - 110, 120, 125
Deadlift - 220, 230, 232.5 miss.

Total 535, weighed in at 89. Qualified for the nationals in April :supz:

Will post some video when I have time to edit it.
