BDFPA worlds

grant came second in british finals and qualified for worlds

made 2 errors, lifted butt on bench and missed 235 deadlift for 1st

Semantics I know but it was the BDFPA British championship this weekend and Grant will have qualified for the WDFPF World Championships to which the BDFPA is an affiliate. The BDFPA do not hold a World's. I am a stickler for accuracy . What day did he lift on? I don't think I met him whilst I was there.

I managed 200/147.5/235 for 9th in the 100's

Either of you guys had experience in gbpf? Everyone round trhis way seem tro be in gbpf?

I lifted with what is now GBPF when it was still part of BWLA. They are a good bunch and meets are always well organised but I prefer BDFPA as the vast majority are unequipped.

i know alot say the gbpf is very strict, which is no bad thing. im assuming its just a region thing why gbpf seems to be the one round here.

GBPF Are the biggest federation in Britain , I think you'll find BDFPA is as least as strict (I actually think our standard is very high) but depending on your location you my find GBPF have a larger presence.
