I did once read about hormone production regarding length of sleep but cannot remember where or the conclusion I it haha

Basic read in terms of needing 8 hours and if not 8 then as many quality hours as possible. What most people struggle with is getting quality sleep and focus too much on quantity.

I generally wake at about 4 hours which is not ideal.

interesting, i actually get my 8 hours of sleep and tend to wake right at the end so dont normally hit groggy feeling

I wish. Whenever I do sleep straight through for 5-6 hours I'm like a Duracell bunny all day :lol:

Sleep (and down regulating the CNS) is something I'm going to be focusing on a lot this next 12 months as I prep for racing next year.

The problem I find is I would like to time sleep so wake up well but it takes that long to et to sleep I don't know how many hors left till te alarm goes off. Diffrent every night

You can buy various apps/gizmo's these days to track/monitor your quality of sleep.
