Probably ran off seeing as its the fastest land animal :mrgreen:

fucking good book though

I was going to pre order when it was first advertised, saw the price & thought "nah I'll wait & get it either second hand or when some of the other retailers sell it slightly cheaper as a Bday present".

Well that backfired as all our dosh went on stuff for the new arrival :lol:

Looking at what I've seen of his work & some other stuff I'm reading the whole stretching/mobilising is sort of conflicting. They seem to be jumping from short contract relax to PNF style up to 3-5 minutes holds all with band distractions.

Is the book just full of "exercises" to do to increase mobility etc or does it also contain specific programs to follow for specific issues?

I have a stretching book at the moment with a lot of info but the bonus is a few templates you can follow for specific issues which helps the reader plan their rehab.

Second flick through this this morning and I'm going to stick with most of the "globalisation" rehab movements 2-3 times per day when possible. Follow what he says about 15 - 20 minutes minimum on at least three sites, give it a couple of weeks & see where we are at.

I was looking at;

Morning: back, calves, hips.

After work: neck/shoulders, back and calves.

Post training: quads etc.

After work is probably going to be the most important because its looking like the bulk of my "issues" are stemming from my back, shoulders & neck getting "tacked" down carrying the weight I do completely throwing out my posture and the bodies ability to move smoothly.
