do they work better than a nice warm bath after a long run ?
are they worth it after every long run ?
do you have the ice bath first then start adding the heat afterwards ? :-k

A lot of conflicting evidence lately on these. If I can find some stuff I'll post.

My own experiences have been you can get something out of both.

Dr Rhonda Patrick has done a lot of research into cold therapy and some interesting health benefits from it

I'll try find some link when I get a chance. If you like podcasts she's been on the joe rogan experience and barbell shrugged

She's done a lot on heat therapy aswell

I'm looking to try contrast showers again. Didn't really do it for long enough last time
