Still undecided on these. While I certainly trust your advice, Cookie, and I mean that, on the opposite end of the spectrum I have people telling me these type of shoes are junk. It seems it works great for 50% of the people and terrible for the other 50%.
I wonder which percentile I fall into???

No worries. I`m all about "rocking the boat".

Covered a good 10 miles yesterday with only 4-5mm of sole between me & Terra Firma. Distance was covered over a period of 4-4.5 hours over undulating terrain & pushing a load that started off at about 95kg & was replenished twice after a it was emptied for a total of 150+kg. Feet, ankles & lower limb musculature feel like they have had a workout but nothing excessive.

Another option is to go to a local stockist & ask to try a pair or three on. Explain your position & walk around the shop a few times to gauge how you feel in them. As to what someone buys all depends on what they want to shoes for.

At the end of the day you know your own feet, or should do, irrespective of what other people say or do a person will never know if something is right or wrong for them if they do not try for themselves.

Easy for me to say because I always do what I want no matter what anyone else says

You are exactly right, and I thought about it over the weekend and before I even read this post I was going to put it on the list.
Your recommendation alone is enough for me.

So if I am a half size, go with the smaller, correct?

Are you going to a shop or ordering on-line?

If ordering on-line double check their returns policy then go with the smaller size if your a half size. When you get them try them on (with tags stick attached) in the house on a carpeted floor so you don`t mark the shoe soles. Wear socks first with the therma insole still in because once you get used to using them minus socks & insole they will feel slightly too big. Mine are a little like that so I may just stick to using them with the insoles in.

Bought wife a pair but it seems the women`s shoes are slightly smaller. Go figure. So I had to return them using the supplied returns labels to get the next size up.

Online most likely. Absolutely refuse to go to the mall for any reason whatsoever and all the other shoe places are discount shops. The neo really does not seem all that popular over here yet, most of the places are selling the evo or competitors offerings.

I think the NEO will get labelled as EVO`s inferior brother. EVO`s are for the purist runners whilst the NEO is more of a cross trainer. Suits me needs better than the EVO & it others aint using them then I`m all for blazing a trail in em :supz:

Practically addicted to these

Get home from work & they are put on. Very comfortable & the feeling of foot & toes being able to spread properly in the large "toe box" that they give is heavenly for sore tired feet.

Trained in them again today. Fantastic for dead-lifts & I`m not finding any issues there.

Might have a good run in them on Sunday, test them out properly.
