Two to three inches, with most of the roads a bit sludgy. Was expecting far worse. The organisers were probably being on the cautious side. Last thing they need is a mass pile up of runners

well TBH the hype down here for severe wether have been grossly over stated

Its been like that here as well. Most TV forecasts for this area has all been for mass blizzards and roaming polar bears but its just been a bit cold and frosty.
I think they talk a lot of shite on the weather just to validate their airtime.

Up to press Sunday's half marathon is still on. BUT we have been forecast with possible snow & very cold temperatures tomorrow.

Nerves now kicking in. Quite daunting the thought of doing 13.1 & it only being the second ever time I've covered that distance. First time in race conditions.
