Fantastic little course starting in the athletics stadium then making its way out into the surrounding trails. It was a two lap course & was very fast. Hated the down hill sections but loved the hills & could power up much easier than others. Was close to blowing chunks at the finish line. Knew I'd gone to my limit having raced the day before.
Finished 34th with a time just over 4 minutes slower than my 10k road PB.
Finished off with a 15 minute rub down of the legs by a local sports masseur.
Legs know about it today.
I think its a doer again next year. Really enjoyed the speed of the course & none of the hustle or bustle of the OCR's.
