Apologies for the lack of updates on the blog.

Once this next race is over with there`ll be more regular features with reviews coming for a couple of supplements I`ve been using. A new memory foam pillow I have been sent. A different massage technique I have been using for a good few weeks now. And this new pair of barefoot shoes that I`ve recently bought. Not to mention the following instalments on the current state of body-building with possibly a few rants about some odds & sods which have been niggling at me for sometime now.

Is this your attempt at sarcasm?

I am all in favor of grass route sporting events, but they really have little chance of making it big unless there is a viable gambling platform associated with it I am afraid. Sadly, for the most part they are forever doomed to remain "cult" sporting events.

When viewed as a whole I think you'll find these cult events are bigger than mainstream sports with a plethora of events worldwide which rarely get any air time on the television but if they do its usually as filler in the early hours of the morning.

If you look back most of these now cult events which have a strong deep routed tradition over centuries will have had a gambling platform. i would not be surprised if some of them still do.
